I got a kick out of the last sentence!
Can I lose weight from these recipes?
Our Losing it with Leanne plans are designed to help with weight loss, the Low Carb and Body Clutter menus are also helpful. Other menus can help with weight loss even though they are not specifically designed for weight loss. (REPHRASE, I sound crazy!!)
I have contacted customer service repeatedly to cancel my subscription, and am still being charged. Any recommendations?
Deanna, Please check your spam/junk folder for our responses, I believe they are being blocked
Hi, what is pumpkin pie spice? I have never seen it (I’m in New Zealand) can I make it from scratch? Thanks
Hello Angela, Pumpkin Pie spice can be found in the spice aisle of your grocery store. It is a combination of ginger, allspice or cloves, and nutmeg. I am sure that if you “google” it you will find recipes to make it from scratch. I hope this helps.
Hi, I just subscribed for the year. How can I substitute tomatoes? I am allergic to them.
We like to use foodsubs.com when we need to replace something in our own kitchens! I hope this helps!
Do you have a pantry list?
Hi Mimi! We used to have the Pantry category on our Premium site, but when we upgraded our system, it was not put back on. We are looking to update that feature so it can be utilized again. Happy Cooking!
Do you have recipes and/or menu mailers for the JJ Virgin Diet? I’m only able to see the Paleo and Saving Dinner/Lunch. Re: Hashimoto’s- you might be interested in the following links http://thyroidbook.com/blog/autoimmune-gut-repair-diet/ and http://paleozonenutrition.com/2013/04/02/my-paleo-plate-a-guide-to-high-nutrient-balanced-paleo-meals/ . I think a JJ Virgin menu mailer that I could adapt to my needs ( if needed) would be extremely helpful to me. Thank you,
Hello Robin, We only have paleo Menu-Mailer which would work for your needs. Check out our Premium Menu-Mailer http://savingdinner.com/menumailer/premium/ I hope this helps.
I can’t locate your link to the segment on healing hashimoto. Can you repost it?
Here is a link to the webinar replay. Hope this helps!
Hi Leanne, I was wondering if you have a menu mailer for the Southern Hemisphere, as it is winter down here now and I like to cook fresh seasonal food. Thanks.
Hi Marilyn, we don’t have a specific Menu Mailer for winter, but if you go to our ebook shop: http://savingdinnershop.com/ebooks-2/regular-ebook/ we have some winter menus, as well as seasonal menus in our menu shop page: http://savingdinnershop.com/menus/seasonal-menus/ Hope this helps!
How do I go about telling you about the size of my family and the type of meals we are interested in?
Hi Victoria, I am assuming you mean for your Menu Mailer options. Well, our Menu Mailers come with Classic, Low Carb, and Paleo and you can choose 6 or 2 servings for Classic, or 4 or 2 servings of Low Carb and Paleo. Hope this helps!
Leanne, I have the menu mailers, do we have neutrino all breakdowns anywhere for a tracker I am using so I can input the food?
Denise again! That was supposed to be… Do you have nutritional info on the recipes so I can input on a food tracker?
Hi Denise, We list all the Nutritional information right under the Cooking Instructions on all our recipes. Hope this helps!
Hello, I am thinking about signing up for Menu Mailers, but I heard that the menu plans make only two to four servings. Is that correct? We are a family of six; our boys are ages 8, 10, 12 and 13. Would it be possible to order a year’s subscription that specifically serves six? (Maybe even more, as the 13 yr. old is eating us out of house and home! Thank you for your reply!
Still trying to figure this out, haha! One more question: the website says the Basic Membership gives you dinner menus for only three days per week? Did I misunderstand? I need a plan for the *whole* week for *six* people. Help!!
The menu Mailer is weekly menus delivered to your email, with 3 menu types included (Low Carb, Paleo and Classic) each type has 6 dinner recipes, plus it includes shopping lists and suggested sides. Low Carb is a Low Carb menu designed to help get rid of excess “body clutter” or weight. Low Carb for two is the same but for 2 people instead of 4 people like the first one. Classic is our regular menu mailer that is great for families. It has recipes for 6 servings that are healthy and delicious. They also have Kosher and Vegetarian options listed at the bottom of the recipes. Paleo menus are naturally gluten free and avoid grains, soy and anything artificial. You can use this link to read more about this type of eating. savingdinner.com/paleo
I hope this helps!
I have hyperthyroidism and I am wondering if eating paleo would help my TSH to stabilize. I am also a nursing mom and would prefer to find a way to get off the meds. Please let me know your suggestions and thanks.
leanne, I have come around to a year with menu mailer. does it just automatically continue?
Yes, it looks like your Menu Mailer has automatically renewed. You can look forward to another great year of Menus!
You have a points category on your menus what does this mean?
The points work with weight loss programs, like weight watchers.
Do you have any plans to create an app?
I am looking for the e-mail of Leanne showing her daughter how to sharpen knives
I just purchased the low carb saving dinner cookbook kindle version. In the intro it says I can go to the website and click on shopping lists to download printable versions of the list…I can’t seem to find shopping lists anywhere on the site, or am I just blind this morning.
Please use this link to access the shopping lists:
scroll to the bottom for the shopping lists
Does the current special on the Premium Menu Mailer include the Paleo diet menus/shopping lists? Or is that separate?
Yes Paleo menus are included in the Premium Membership, I hope this helps!
It DOES!! Thank you!
I am looking to reduce/eliminate soy from our diet. What can I substitute for soy sauce in Asian cooking? I remember you mentioned that in an email a while back but I can’t seem to find it. Also, is there a mayo that doesn’t have soy sauce in it?
Hello! I recently purchased the paleo 30-day summer challenge and accompanying special offers and am having trouble finding some of the ingredients. Do you have a substitutions list somewhere? I’m specifically looking this week for possible substitutions for jerusalem artichokes and coconut cream as I can find neither in local stores. Thanks!
Hi! I just purchased the Crocktober pack and I’m so excited. Is there a community or forum where I can post questions about substitutions or what different cuts of meat actually look like? I live in Switzerland, so they have different cuts of meat and things like low sodium broth can be difficult to find. Any suggestions or advice is most welcome! Thanks so much and happy crocking!
