Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids help to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and increasing cell turnover. AHAs can gently remove rough or flaky skin without causing irritation, improving the texture and appearance of all skin types.

Our Alpha-Hydroxy Acid Serum is derived from organic cane sugar and fruit acids to gently resurface the skin – tightening pores, balancing oil production, and fading hyperpigmentation.

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Water) – Aloe water contains enzymes, antioxidants, and Vitamins A and C which can improve the appearance of burns, acne, and dry skin. It is also antibacterial and stimulates healing. 

Glycolic Acid – Glycolic Acid is considered the gold standard of AHA’s due to its small molecular size that can easily penetrate the skin and break down bonds between dead skin cells. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by exfoliating the top layer of skin. It is also a humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air into the skin, keeping the skin moisturized. 

Lactic Acid – Another AHA, lactic acid increases cell turnover and stimulates cell removal by exfoliating the top layer of skin. 

Citric Acid – Citric acid is a good source of antioxidants. It helps to unclog pores and even skin tone.

Tartaric Acid from Extracts of Grape (Vitis Vinifera) – Tartaric acid helps to balance the skin’s PH, as well as improve the skin’s texture and reducing the visible signs of aging.

Lemon (Medica Limonum) – Lemon oil is a fabulous antioxidant and has antibacterial properties. It helps to clean, lighten and brighten skin, and can gently fade blemishes. 

Passionfruit (Passiflora Quadrangularis) – Passionflower extract hydrates and moisturizes the skin. It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and keeps the skin smooth and plump. 

Pineapple (Ananas Sativus) – Pineapple fruit extract is a gentle exfoliator. It helps to even, brighten, calm, and soothe the skin. It also contains vitamin C which helps to fade dark spots and stimulates collagen production. 

Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber Fruit Extract) – Cucumber fruit extract is an antioxidant, and has anti-inflammatory and skin conditioning properties. 

Glycerin – Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air into the skin, keeping the skin hydrated. It is also an emollient, which can soften the skin. 

Laminaria (Algae) Extract – Algae extract is an excellent antioxidant and can protect the skin from antioxidant stress.

Bacillus Ferment – Bacillus ferment is an enzymatic exfoliant that helps to remove dead skin cells. It not only makes the skin look and feel softer, but increased cell turnover helps to improve overall skin tone and reduces hyperpigmentation. 

Lonicera Japonica (Japanese Honeysuckle Flower Extract) – Honeysuckle flower extract has potent anti-inflammatory properties. It is soothing and can be used on even the most sensitive skin.
