| To raise your vibe, there has to be an energetic shift, and even as I say this (or write it), it leaves you with a huge question, doesn’t it? It does for me! How? How on earth does one “shift”? Do you remember learning to drive a stick? The scariness of it all, the many things you had to learn? – There was listening to the engine. – There was watching the speedometer. – Coordinating both feet to engage the clutch and accelerator, and using your hand to shift the gear stick. It was a lot. And then one day… it was fluid. You could drive, have a convo, and play the radio really loud all at the same time. The process of learning to shift was learning the process: – There was timing involved. – Your senses were heightened – especially as you learned. – There was fear, intimidation, and wondering if you’d ever “get it”. But in order to go from here to there, you have to learn to shift. And for those of us on a quest to become the most vibrant, high-vibe versions of ourselves, we deploy the same process: – Heightened awareness. – Feeling scared but going forward anyway. – Being keenly aware of timing. Shifting a car is ritualistic; shifting your energy is too. Here’s how: 1. Tap into all your senses – I can smell my VW bug right now, hear it, see it, engage with it, and finally drive it. With my hot desire to shift to my higher energy self, I tap into my vibrant vision board to see it, and my TBYL Journal to write and affirm it. With every Target Trifecta Smoothie, supplement, and Hot Melt Sprint, I affirm the kind of life I want to live – shifting to the best version of myself. 2. When I had the VW, I put the key in, buckled up (though optional at the time), and took off so I’d reach my destination. Likewise, to shift my energy to transform now, I need to get in the driver’s seat: Meditate, pray, journal, sleep, hydrate, move. All of this activates my higher self, and I shift. 3. Intentionally create a great supportive environment. When it was the VW, that included my high school tassel hanging on the rearview mirror, adjusting the seat and mirrors, and making sure I had gas. At home and in my office, that means ritualized routines to create visual peace and order, as well as surrounding myself with inspiration – books, quotes, TEDtalks, research, etc. 4. Community – here and outside of here, when I’m just another person in the group – it’s important to be a part of a group as well as to lead. Different roles create new opportunities to shift and grow! 5. Release what no longer serves – feelings, thoughts, traumatic memories. I’m heeding the call to clean out, pare down, and prepare for more! YES PLEASE! Clutter never serves – clutter steals your peace. Give it up, you cannot out-give God. Letting go is a way to tell your Creator you trust Him implicitly to meet every single one of your needs! |
