I LOVE this smoothie!
Thanks Lee! It’s a favorite–plus I’m sure you’ve noticed it keeps you full for hours!
Made the recipe for 2 this morning. Spilt it. All but 2 mouthfulls. Was delicious.
Forgot the chia seeds and added fiber (Aussie Benefibre..wheat dextrin based _ don ‘t really know if that would have been good or not). Anyway I am about to have eggs instead as I spilt my last avacado.
I don’t care for Avocado. What is MCT Oil in the Target Trifecta Smoothie?
?
Hi Kathy, MCT (medium chain triglycerides) oil is a highly digestible and quickly processed fat that doesn’t get stored, rather used for energy. It’s small molecules make it quickly absorbable in your bloodstream. Just start small–1/2 teaspoon to avoid stomach upset
Can you suggest a lower oxalate version of this that still accomplishes the same goals?
Hi Tammy, just skip the spinach and Just Juiced Veggies and you’ll be hitting the Target Trifecta (protein, fat & fiber) but without the green nutrition. Hope that helps!
Is the smoothie the only you can take the L-Glutamine? Because I would like to take it as I was diagnosed with pre diabetes. As I was depressed and I was binge eating at 2 in the morning. Because of this my blood test showed I was pre diabetes. And know that my family had diabetes. It controlled their lives.
Because our L-Glutamine is completely tasteless, you can really mix it with any beverage. I like to add it to my Hot Melt Mix. That way, I get the benefit of both these fabulous supplements. Don’t forget, if you have any questions about our supplements, you can send an email to [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.
